Step 1: Schedule Your Session
Time of Day: The best time of day for your session is either bright and early, around 9 a.m., or about an hour before sunset. This gives us the best lighting to work with!
Sessions: I book both weekend and weekday sessions, however my weekends often fill up quickly! I recommend reaching out as soon as you can to get a weekend spot!
Mini-sessions are only offered on certain days and locations - reach out if you are interested in one of those!
Weather: Beautiful photographs can be made in any type of weather, however I understand the downside to sessions in the rain or the occasional freezing cold! I have a few locations that offer beautiful covered spaces, and we always have the option to reschedule if the weather is looking too ominous.
Payment to reserve your spot: The session fee is required to be paid within 24 hours to officially hold your spot.
Step 2: The Session Itself
This is the best part - the photoshoot! We will have fun and you will feel at ease in front of the camera! I like to take my time getting to know you and find a good vibe for us to work with so you are relaxed and smiling your beautiful natural smile! Bring a little make up bag powder and lipstick for any quick retouching you may need. If we are at my home studio, let me know what kind of music you like and I will be sure to have it playing!
Step 3: After
the Session
Within a week or so of your session, you will receive an email from me with a link that includes your fully edited images through the website Pic-time. Once you have had a chance to enjoy your images, you will have the choice of three collections to purchase from. You can order digital only, or purchase prints and other items easily through my online store.
Post those images to your social media and website ASAP!
